On Site Training

 

Access to suitable parking at the venue will be needed for the instructor.  If this is not available we need to be informed at least seven days prior to the start date, since dependent on amount of equipment needed, the course may be cancelled if an alternative cannot be found.

If parking meters/pay car park need to be utilised the client will need to provide payment at the time.

The instructor will provide all training equipment they need to teach the course, unless otherwise agreed.

The training/assessment venue must be suitable for the purpose (i.e. - no interruptions, appropriate environment, sufficient space, appropriate training equipment including flipchart and paper, power point, screen, TV and DVD etc.).

First Aid at Work / (Refresher) courses has specific requirements of the course venue as enforced by The Health & Safety Executive.

Our instructors are under instruction to terminate training where they believe their personal safety or health & safety may be at risk.

We always prosecute persons who threaten or assault our staff.

Make your cheque payable to Alpha Training Services Limited. Post payment to:  Accounts Department, Alpha Training Services Limited, Flat 1 All Saints Lodge, Rye Road, Hawkhurst, Kent TN18 4ET

 

By BACS

Payment Terms

 

An invoice will be issued upon confirmation of your booking, and the total is to be paid within 30 days from the date of the invoice or before the course start date, whichever is soonest.

 

We reserve the right not to carry out training where the invoice has not been settled before the course begins.

 

We reserve the right (under Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act, 1988) to charge the customer on any overdue amount at the rate of 8% per month, compounding monthly.

 

In the event of fewer students attending a course than had been booked, the client will still be charged for the class size rate they originally requested (unless previously agreed in writing).

 

CERTIFICATES ARE NOT ISSUED UNTIL INVOICES ARE PAID.

 

 

Cancellation Policy

 

ALL CANCELLATIONS MUST BE IN WRITING.

 

If the client cancels a course or a place on an open course, they will be liable to a cancellations fee.  This is charged on the following sliding scale:

25%  of invoice total if cancelled within four weeks of start date  (28 days), including Weekends.

50%  of invoice total if cancelled within two weeks of start date  (14 days),  including Weekends.

100%  of invoice total if cancelled within one week of start date  (7 days),  including Weekends.

 

If we need to cancel a course we will endeavour to give as much notice to client as possible.  Clients will be offered an alternative mutually agreeable date for training in the first instance.  If no agreement can be reached Alpha Training Services Limited will (dependent upon certain conditions) issue a FULL refund to the client.  

 

We retain the right to alter, amend, change or adjust any course profile as is deemed appropriate without notice.
