The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 introduces significant change. As well as simplifying current legislation, it introduces the need for employers, building owners and occupiers to have a greater understanding of fire safety and nominate a "responsible person" to ensure compliance. This puts more emphasis on employers to provide adequate fire safety in the workplace.
Our specialist fire trainers can train your staff as fire wardens in order to take control of the situation in the event of an emergency or fire practises. We can also provide fire awareness training to all your staff and new employees to meet with current legislation. All staff should be trained in the procedures in the event of a fire including raising the alarm and evacuation procedures.
